As I already said in my previous post also that InfoBeans have a very fun filled environment and I got one more moment to share this with all.
Just on last Saturday that is 8th November 2008 we enjoyed a very good evening with loads of fun by the event of quiz contest that was organized by our quiz contest of InfoBeans. We have four different comities for different activity that I shall speak some time later in future.
On Saturday evening we all participated in this quiz contest in the form of four different teams. Teams were named as IB Einstein(lead Samanvay Gupta), IB Galileo(lead Lovleet Jain), IB Newton(Lead Kshitiz vyas) and IB Charles(Lead Vikas Jhanjhari). Initially I was member of IB Einstein group but due to lack of people in IB Charles I joined IB Charles and I got rewarded with a 5star for that change.
This Quiz contest game was divided in 5 parts
1.Beginner level question
2.Intermediate questions
3.Expert Questions
4.Pahchan kaun( identify who is that)
5. 5.Luck wheel round.
Other then these 5 parts we had some complimentary question about our office only and the right answer reward was chocolates the real game reward I will tell you latter on.
Ok now I am trying to narrate the entire 2 hour scene in few lines.
We started at 5PM evening and when organizers were trying to announce the rules of the game we were trying to make a lot of noise and just this first time I was one of them who created a lot of noise but for fun only. After some time organizers were able to transfer the rules to all of us with. The rules were given to all by Kanupriya.
Rules of the games were like this
“As mentioned above there will be 5 part of the game in first three parts every team had to get 3 questions and on each correct answer team got rewarded with points. For beginner level each question point was 20, for intermediate question points were 40 and for expert question points were 60 for every question.
In Pahchand kaun or Identify who is that part we got to see a photo of 2 faces on InfoBeans team member that were morphed by our web designer Debashish and we had to identify who are the 2 people in that image. For each correct answer of this question points were 50
Next round luck wheel was like this that we had to rotate the luck wheel where we had number 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 and whatever the number we will get that will point for that particular team for questions. There were 2 questions in this round for each team. Luckily this was luckiest round for me I will tell how after some time.
And the answer giving authority was there with lead only in this contest so no other could give the answer”
Ok now start with first round Beginner
This round started with IB Galileo and then next question to IB Newton then next question to IB Einstein and then next question came to IB Charles teams. We found the question toughest for us but we said ok no issue same thing went for second and third questions too and IB Charles started complaining that we are getting tough questions.
Well organizers said that all questions are random and we knew that organizing had no personal problem with us so we did not made scene but we requested to if team can be selected randomly for asking questions and they said yes for that.
Ok next question round was intermediate
It started smoothly but very soon we got an issue for IB Newton team, They had argument for answer of a question that were right according to them but organizing found that answer wrong and in the end result of that drama the IB Newton team got another question that rewarded them points. The same drama went once again for IB Newton group only in the same round.
After this there was heat in the atmosphere and organizers said if we will have any doubt like this we shall change the question.
Next round was expert question round
In this round question was being asked by Pooja. Here I am naming her name specially because she did not allowed any one to make noise and she warned every team that you speak in between others question time and your points will go in minus state. She threaten almost every team for minus marking and for not to speak or for not to make any scene. Well this round went almost well due to threat of Pooja J hehehehe
Next round was pahchan kaun round
This was the best round out of the entire round because it gave load of fun to each team member. Morphing of all the images were really too good. It was very difficult to identify the real faces in few of the morphed images.
Well it’s not always good when it’s too good same went with this round also. Initially organizers asked that we had to tell not only the name but also we had to identify that who is upper portion of the face and whose face is lower one. It was going fine but when it came for IB Einstein group they got an Image that was morphed but not in upper and layer part, It was super imposed and even they were able to identify the person they couldn’t answer the question and they loosed it here. It was the point when one of the coolest guy of InfoBeans, Samanvay got anger in his eyes and along with him Vikas also got angered but somehow we closed this issue also as we were playing but after that organizers only asked the name but not which part of face is of whome for rest of the images.
In this round one more funny incident went with me, My team got a morphed image in which my image was morphed with someone else, I was clearly identifiable in that image but who was the second face we were not able to identify, in fact no one was able to identify that second face and later we got to know that it was samanway.
Next round was luck wheel round
This round started with IB Charles team in which I was a member, from my teams side I went first to rotate the wheel and as I mentioned there were different numbers in this wheel but luckily I got the 100 numbers and so the question that my team got was for 100 points and answer for our question was correct so we got 100 point for that question.
After me 7 other people rotated that wheel but no one got 100 points , that’s why I said myself lucky for this round early ;).
As I mentioned that in each round we got some problem and in this round also we got a problem, It was an issue in electricity. We got an MCB trip issue and due to that light went off for few minute but we corrected this in less than 5 minute and started again.
Result Announcement time.
After this there was announcement of results and the great thing with result was that no one was looser here, every team won some thing because the points that we earned were converted in money and each team got rewarded with a cash of the amount equals to points that they earned. so IB Newton got first , IB Charles got second, IB Galileo got third and IB Einstein got fourth rank in this and with this money we will be doing a party very soon.
This all was done by the quiz and contest and for this great fun filled event I must say thanks to each team member of the . Team member of this are as bellow

Rati,Pooja,Bimb,Reena at this time I don’t know there particular task but one thing I know, without them it was not possible to make this event done.

Last but not least in this quiz contest every one missed one person whom I can say living Wikipedia of InfoBeans, a bank of GK and that’s Abhishek Chattergy. Abhishek was not able to join us because he was on leave for visiting his native place.
Right now I do not have images of this event but I shall add them as soon as I will get the images.
